01Who we are

Cognarc, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Cognarc”, “we”, “us”), operates this website, is building Praxon, and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Our Taiwan affiliate is 識邑智能股份有限公司. This policy covers this website and the conversations you start with us by email or by booking a call. Praxon is in development and is not offered as a service yet; it will have its own terms and privacy information before it is.

Questions about this policy or your information: hello@cognarc.ai.

02What we collect

Browsing this website. Fonts are served from this website. Google LLC hosts this website on Cloud Run and may process technical data — such as IP address, browser type and the time of a request — to serve pages and protect against abuse. See the Google Cloud Privacy Notice.

The waitlist form. Waitlist registration is not yet open. Anything you type into the form stays in your browser tab and is not sent to us or saved. Before registration opens we will update this policy: we plan to collect the name and email address you enter, your signup intent, and any optional answers you choose to give, and to store them on our behalf with Supabase (Postgres) with anonymous browsers unable to read the list.

Email. When you email us, we receive your address, your message and anything you choose to include.

Booking a call. “Book a call” links open Google Calendar in a new tab. The details you enter there — such as your name, email address and any optional answers — are collected by Google under Google’s Privacy Policy and shared with us so that we can hold the conversation. The calendar page does not load on this website. Google measurement scripts are separate and are described under Measurement.

03Measurement

Google Analytics 4 and a Google Ads tag stay off unless this deployment has them configured and you choose Allow. The footer control “Measurement choices” shows the current choice, including when measurement is not turned on. Until you allow measurement, the site loads no analytics or advertising scripts and sets no measurement cookies.

If you allow analytics, the site loads Google Analytics 4 from Google. Google may receive the pages you view (with campaign parameters such as utm_source when they are on the link you opened; other query parameters are left out), a client identifier, the referring page, coarse device and browser data, an approximate location that Google estimates from your IP address, which of these links you use (Book a call, email, the waitlist, the example) and which step of the waitlist form you reach, not your answers. We do not send form answers, your name or your email address. If a page experiment is published on this website, we also record which variant you were shown.

If you allow advertising measurement, and that tag is configured, the site loads a Google Ads tag that records visits from our ads. Advertising personalization stays off. A booking click can be counted as an ad conversion; it is not a completed booking.

A first-party cookie named cgd_consent remembers your choice for six months. A first-party cookie named cgd_exp is set only if you allow analytics and an experiment is running; it stores the variant id, not your name or email. Allowing analytics lets Google set _ga cookies on this domain, kept for six months after your last visit; allowing advertising measurement lets Google set _gcl cookies, for the period Google sets. You can refuse, or change your choice later from “Measurement choices” in the footer. Refusing or withdrawing your choice deletes these cookies from this domain. Google describes its own processing in Google’s Privacy Policy.

04How we use information

  • To reply to you, and to schedule and hold the conversations you ask for.
  • To understand how teams review and release changes, so we can decide what to build. We do this from what you choose to tell us; we do not ask for private files or repository access through this website.
  • To see which pages and actions are used, if you allow measurement.
  • To keep a record of our correspondence and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use measurement to personalize advertising.

Where a law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on your consent, on our legitimate interest in responding to you and learning from the conversations you start, or on a legal obligation, as applicable.

05Who we share it with

  • Service providers that run our email, calendar and website on our behalf, such as Google LLC for Cloud Run hosting and calendar bookings. They process information under their own terms and our instructions. When waitlist registration opens, Supabase will store waitlist rows on our behalf under the same conditions.
  • Google, when you allow measurement and a tag is configured, for the measurement described above.
  • Our Taiwan affiliate, 識邑智能股份有限公司, which works with us on Praxon, for the purposes in this policy.
  • Authorities or other parties when the law requires it, or to protect rights, safety and the integrity of our services.
  • A successor organization if Cognarc is involved in a merger, acquisition or reorganization; this policy would continue to apply to the information.

06Where information is processed

We work from Taiwan and the United States, and our service providers operate in other countries. Your information may therefore be processed outside the country where you live.

07How long we keep it

We keep correspondence and notes from conversations for as long as they are useful for the purposes above, and delete them when you ask us to, unless we must keep them to meet a legal obligation. Technical data processed to deliver the website is kept only as long as the infrastructure provider retains it for operating the service. When waitlist registration opens, we will keep waitlist entries and related survey answers until you ask us to delete them, or until they are no longer useful for product updates and outreach, unless we must keep them to meet a legal obligation.

08Your choices and rights

You can refuse measurement or change that choice from “Measurement choices” in the footer. You can also ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it, and you can withdraw consent you have given. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act. Email hello@cognarc.ai and we will respond as the applicable law requires.

For information collected by Google when you book a call, you can also use the tools Google provides for your account.

09Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, and this website does not collect form data while waitlist registration is closed. When registration opens, waitlist writes will go only through our server with a service-role credential that is not exposed to browsers, and row-level security will block anonymous reads. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10Children

This website is intended for professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.

11Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our practices change — in particular before the waitlist starts collecting information — and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so on this page.
